About Us
Towards Home Animal Rescue was founded in January of 2017 by a dedicated group of animal lovers who wanted to help the suffering of animals in the Philippines. We are a volunteer-based organization that receives no government funding and is entirely supported by donations. We believe that by joining forces, we can save all animals and put an end to animal cruelty and the wrongful exploitation of animals as commodities. Every animal that comes through our doors is treated with the love and care that they deserve. We strongly believe that if people are educated on the benefits of sterilization and if these costs were more affordable, then there would be fewer abandoned, abused, and homeless animals.
Our Mission
To rescue the mistreated, save the injured and love the abandoned. To raise awareness and understanding of how animals can benefit our lives and bring about a time when there are no more homeless pets. To sterilize all pets to help prevent and reduce overpopulation. To educate the public on proper animal care and how to help improve the lives of animals in our society. To provide medical care to all animals who come through our doors and create a community in which people value animals and treat them with kindness and respect.
Our Vision
Our vision is for all animals to live free from cruelty and suffering. To transform the Philippines into a compassionate country where all cats and dogs have loving homes. To continue saving more animals every year, as well as encourage and support other shelters in a joint effort. We want to keep educating people about compassion and respect for all living creatures.
